T O P I C R E V I E WBuelI managed to obtain a small golden key on a ribbon and a certificate of authenticity that the key was found in Ed Mitchell's belongings from the estate sale a few years ago. It does not state that it was presented to Ed in any official way and I can't find any reference to it on Google.Any ideas how I can substantiate this, please?Robert PearlmanYou might reach out to the Oklahoma City County Historical Society to see if they have records of who was honored with a key to the city and when. Or you could try contacting the Mayor's office, which would have been responsible for awarding the key.BuelThanks, Robert! Any ideas on how much this might be worth?Chuckster01For the most part, keys to the city do not command great prices. I have Scott Carpenter's Key to Orlando (the city I live in) but most of the ones I have seen sell run in the $100 to $300 range and most (not all) are engraved with the recipients name and the presentation date.
Any ideas how I can substantiate this, please?
